Body Found in River

From the Middletown Police.

At 2:24PM, a private boater on the Connecticut River called Middletown Police and reported that there appeared to be a body floating near the fuel dock behind the Pratt and Whitney complex located on Aircraft Road.

Middletown Fire/Rescue Units recovered the body of a deceased white male believed to be between the ages of eighteen and twenty-five. The male was wearing blue jeans, a black tee-shirt with a long sleeve grey shirt on top, and brown Timberland boots. He had short dark brown hair and one diamond stud earring in each ear.

The investigation is currently being handled by Middletown Police detectives. The cause of death is unknown at this time. The unidentified male will be delivered to the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner in Farmington, CT where the cause of death will be determined.
