In the wake of the 9-11 tenth anniversary, many questions still remain about how the WTC buildings were brought down. Architects and Engineers for 9-11 Truth (AE911Truth) is a group of 1,500+ professionals who have prepared expert testimony on this subject and are attempting to open up a new, independent investigation of 9-11. The non-partisan group has produced a video, “Explosive Evidence,” which corroborates their testimony and concludes that the towers were brought down by controlled demolition with pre-planted explosives and incendiaries.
The video will be screened on Thursday, October 20th at 6:30 p.m. in the Little Barn at 616 Long Hill Road in Middletown. Wayne Coste, a professional engineer, will be there to answer questions and lead a discussion following the screening. Coste is the Congressional Outreach Team Leader for AE911Truth.

I viewed this film recently, going into it a bit skeptical about what I would see and hear. What the film contains is interviews with dozens of architects and engineers who know a great deal about steel frame buildings, and claim that the official story flies in the face of the basic assumptions they employ as professionals. I'm not in a position to evaluate their claims, but they were impressive in their testimony, and are not a bunch of people spinning theories from thin air. THe film also confines itself to the engineering questions, and doesn't venture into speculations about anything beyond that.
I hope that some people with knowledge of some of the relevant science will turn up at such talks and ask the questions that need to be asked to test what the folks in AE911 are saying. Most of us don't know much about things like the melting point of steel or the combustion temperature of jet fuel, so if there are disagreements about the engineering claims, I for one would be grateful to see a professional quality discussion.
It wouldn't hurt if you had a basic understanding of the NIST collapse hypotheses first, Steven. No steel melted in any of them, and the jet fuel burned off in ~10 minutes.
Gage's "engineers" are "a bunch of people spinning theories from thin air," and not one of them can answer any of the questions I asked in my first comment. AE911"truth" is based on junk science and fraud.
I'm 100% positive that World Trade Center Building 7 was intentionally brought down by controlled demolition. All you have to do is watch the video. Albury, I challenge you to find another video of a fire that collapsed another high rise steel super structure anywhere in the world. You won't be able to. However, I can show you dozens of videos of buildings collapsing due to controlled demolition that look EXACTLY the same as the WTC7 video. I belived the "official story" for years, until I saw the video for myself. I had a very hard time with some of the obvious implications of what my eyes told me, but I demand to know what really happened on Sept. 11, 2001. We (the public) have been mislead. This is the simple truth.
